What will you do as our celebrant?
As your celebrant I will get to know you, your story and work with you to create a customised wedding ceremony that reflects your relationship and feels authentically you. I will match the vibe you are wanting for your big day - whether that’s traditional or modern, light hearted or serious, formal or relaxed. My style is warm, positive and engaging. My goal is to bring an injection of energy and warmth to your day while blending in and holding space for the moments that matter the most.
How personalised is the ceremony?
Every ceremony I create is completely unique and tailored to your story, values, and vision. Every element is crafted to feel authentic and meaningful to you.
Can we meet you first?
Absolutely! I offer a no obligation initial chat on Zoom so we can get to know each other and see if the fit is right.
How long is a typical ceremony?
Most ceremonies run between 20-30 minutes, but we can tailor this to suit your preferences. Short and sweet? Deep and storytelling-focused? We’ll create what feels right for you.
Are you a registered marriage celebrant in New Zealand?
Yes - I am a registered independent marriage celebrant authorised to legally marry couples in New Zealand. I will guide you through the marriage licence process and ensure all legal paperwork is properly completed and lodged.
Do you provide help with vows?
Yes. I provide guidance, examples, and support to help you write meaningful vows. I also recommend couples email me their vows (separately) so I can check they are matched in length and tone.
How much are your services?
My rate is $750 (plus GST) for a thoughtfully personalised ceremony.
This covers everything including our initial consultations and creation of your bespoke ceremony, guidance, ideas and correspondence in the lead-up to your wedding, a rehearsal if required, help with vows (if desired), officiating the ceremony on the day, and handling all legal paperwork.
What are your payment requirements?
I request a 50% deposit to secure the date, then the final 50% is due one week before the ceremony.
Can you travel?
Yes. I am primarily based in Rodney, Auckland. However I am available in some locations outside of Auckland. Feel free to reach out and see if I am available for your dates and location. Travel fees apply - just ask and I’ll let you know.
What do you wear?
I will match the dress code of your day. I keep my look polished and neutral so I complement your day without taking attention away from you. I will always check what colour your bridesmaids are wearing and any colour palette or style preferences you have.
